Stranded on a remote island after having been deposed, Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, has been living alone with his daughter Miranda. Endowed with supernatural powers, he conjures up a storm in order to force his enemies to land on the island. Now that he has them in his power he can take his revenge. At the same time, he is intent on making his daughter's happiness.
