Best Friend Fix
After getting "friend-dumped" on her birthday, June sees a commercial for Best Friend Fix, a new subscription service that delivers an android friend in a box once a month. She immediately signs up and soon after receives her first BFF, Cory- "sociable, amiable, and gregarious!" The two are initially inseparable, however June's growing attachment to Cory as the month passes devolves into jealousy and resentment as the shortcomings of having a robot for a best friend come to light.
