Aperture
Aperture follows the story of Maria, a live-in maid struggling to make ends meet for herself and her young daughter Zara. They encounter an old Polaroid Camera that, rather than printing pictures of what is front of it, prints pictures of the future instead. Their lives change forever, not necessarily for the better, as Maria uses this camera to try and benefit herself and her daughter. All in all, Aperture is about the relationship between Maria and Zara, and that is the definite focus of the film, with the future-telling camera helping drive the plot forward.
