
The Cubicbird
Pedro, a songbird, is born and raised in captivity at Don Jaime's house. In his first birthday, dreams about an owl who suggest him to grow stronger in order to achieve freedom. Pedro eats as much as he can until he is so big that breaks his cubic cage, but he adopts the shape of the cage becoming the first cubic bird in history. Pedro flies away from Don Jaime's home before the very eyes of some other birds, a hamster and a a cactus,and instruct all the birds he cab find to imitate him and get free. In a short period of time many birds mimic his strategy and escape, becoming a new entire species of cubic birds, proclaiming Pedro his national hero. The whole short is narrated in verse, and is based in a non-published children book named "pajarocubo"
