Devinda is an actor married to Saroja. Devinda starts an illicit affair with an actress Anjali. When Anjali becomes possessive and jealous of the life he leads with his wife he tries to break away from her. Anjali tries to commit suicide but is saved. She eventually loses her mind and is put in a mental hospital. Devinda helps her to get cured and she is released. Devinda comes to see Anjali one day thinking she is cured but events take place that will lead to one of them dying a tragic death.
