Ivan Ivanovich is a bureaucrat who clearly cannot cope with his direct responsibilities. There are always people hovering under his office, waiting to be seen. A sick boss is not in a good mood: every now and then he will yell at someone, barely get up from his chair, and kick them out the door. Ivan Ivanovich's manners leave much to be desired - he hardly greets visitors and is often rude. There is no prosperity in his family either.
