L'enlèvement des Sabines
Tired of the behavior from the men in the local wine harvesting village in France, nine women form the Sabines women's club - name chosen because no fewer than three of them go by the name of Sabine. They rent a mini bus to spend a weekend in Paris, void of men. The men of the village feel threatened by this act of women's liberation. They organize a masked and armed commando, hi-jack the mini bus and kidnap the Sabines, in a reference to the ancient Roman myth of the abduction of the Sabines. Will the Sabines' little liberation movement prevail or will it be crushed by the phallocracy, or is there a third option of equal opportunities and mutual enjoyment?
