Regular Programming is a single shot in which a woman, wearing pajamas, aggressively rides a rocking horse in a masturbatory fashion. The juxtaposition of the childhood charm of the room and her adult behavior engages the dichotomies of childhood vs. adulthood, innocence vs. sinfulness, 'appropriate' vs. 'inappropriate' behavior, and childhood fantasy vs. adult fantasy. The voyeurism of the slowly encroaching camera makes the audience complicit in the event and the reactions it conjures, and ultimately asks them to judge the woman and be judged themselves for participating in the scene.
