On the way home from her friends party with her twin brother Warren (Weise) a very drunk Jess (Mussington) is hit by a speeding car and is left with some deadly injuries including a dislocated spine, broken leg, punctured lung and mild amnesia. Months later when she's released from hospital she has to come to terms with her injuries and her new life with the help of her brother Warren, big sister Alexandria (Weinreb), crush Dylan (Delgado-Barriero) and her newly divorced parents Joe (Thompson) and Leah (Kingston) .
