Maroc, l'innocence sacrifiée
In 2014, the Minister of Justice of Morocco registered 5 750 sexual assaults from pedophiles nationally. For the associations fighting this scourge, the number of cases could be 4 times more important. Since the ratification of the International Convention on Children's Rights in 1993, Morocco has made undeniable improvements. Yet, there is still progress to be made. The means used to effectively combat pedophilia appear to be derisory and professionals who intervene directly with victims and their families suffer from lack of support from the public authorities.
