Nintendo World Championships 2015
In June 2015, twenty five years after the first tournament was held, the Nintendo World Championships took place in California, showcasing the talents of the world's top sixteen Nintendo players. The gamers were challenged to Nintendo games new and old, including Splatoon, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid Prime: Blast Ball, Super Metroid, Mario Kart 8, Balloon Fight, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Mario Maker. After all of the button mashing, in game strategy, and unbridled determination only one person will remain to capture the 2015 Nintendo World Championship.
