A teenage girl is unhappy with her life, especially at home. Tired of seeing her parents fighting, she chooses to run away from home. She goes to a party where she puts herself in harm's way through one wrong choice she makes while at the party. She ultimately returns home with assistance from a mysterious stranger who protected her throughout the evening without her awareness. She reunites with her family, realizing her solution to run away was not the answer she had really wanted.
