A Story of Filipino "Grandmas": The Life and Love of Drag Queens on Stage. We can all relate with their personal stories of how tough life can be from the small things that upset us to the bigger ones that hurt our feelings; yet they have found their own place in society and discovered more about themselves that molded them to become who they are now. They are the stars when they perform on stage but they shine the most off stage, when we see how they very much reflect the Filipino character: hard-working, family-oriented, and resilient individuals. This film shows, that despite all the obstacles they've been through, these bread-winners serve as an inspiration to each one of us - how we can embrace our differences and appreciate the uniqueness of others. We all have something great to offer in this world and it starts by accepting who we are.
