Judy is distraught after husband's sudden death. Decides to go back to school with the insurance money. Takes her washed up friend Brenda with her and lands at NYU with her son. We all need a Brenda in our lives. She was the "it girl" in the 90's. Dealing with her ex meeting someone else and taking her to the dark side of jealousy. She ends up in lock up. Brenda is train wreck of fun, hooking up and really enjoying college parties and mischief. Both lifelong friends help each other get through the semester in a whirlwind of fun madness. Judy's son is really into the academic year. Brenda helps him loosen up and enjoy his freshman year for what it is. A coming to ages. Judy meets someone but feels guilty because her hubby passed.
