Two women, the socialite Deborah Marshall and her Malaysian maid Jen, are held captive in an abandoned brickworks, waiting for the ransom money that will free them. As time passes power shifts between the women and their captors: the old school thug Ed (who was only supposed to be the driver); the psychotic gang leader Thomas; and The Kid, who - bored with the waiting game - decides to throw stones into the wasps nest.
