Down and Out
Down and Out is a short film that follows two families in the moments leading up to an exhibition boxing match. Knowing it might be his last fight, John Burrows, a semi-retired boxer with a history of injuries, must convince his family to let him enter the ring. Unknown to Burrows, Mark, an unscrupulous businessman with a penchant for gambling, has placed a large bet on the supposedly fixed fight, putting both families in jeopardy. Which family can make it through the night still intact?
