ShortDrama

In the confines of a psych ward, young Leonard Hensick seems to have it all figured out. He has managed to avoid the pressures of joining the U.S. Army (at the behest of his father) by voluntarily checking into the facility under the guise of a patient. Inside, Leonard has started a romantic relationship with a patient, Charlotte, whom he considers his only companion inside those walls. However, the head doctor, Dr. Wilkins, is privy to Leonard's motives for his voluntary stay at the ward. Sympathizing with Leonard's wishes to steer clear of the Army, Wilkins proposes a scenario where Leonard would be deemed mentally unfit for the military on the condition that Leonard keep away from Charlotte and leave the ward in a month's time. Now, Leonard must choose between his ultimate freedom and Charlotte while Dr. Wilkins must protect his patient from a dramatic mental set back. But how far are both men willing to go to get what they truly desire?
