In an unknown country, a civil war is going on. An officer, a young captain Ander, arrives at the tent camp on a mission from headquarters. He does not accept the chaos and freedom among the "hairy" fighters who look like mercenaries. The reliable sergeant Gez and the experienced corporal Gredo, with whom the sergeant has an old feud, are assigned to Ander's special group. The mission is to penetrate deep into the enemy's rear and destroy a strategically important object. During the mission, battles and sabotage, Gez begins to suspect that the unit is being used as a pawn that is sacrificed in a chess game.
