Beyond the Spitfire is the brainchild of 12 year old boy Charlie Connew. Coming from both a performing arts and armed forces background Charlie is ideally placed to bring this imaginative and timely story to life, with the help of a fascination for Spitfires. Charlie has teamed up to Direct his first film with Alyson Connew (Mum) who scripted and produced the film. If you were 12 how would you feel if you were transported to a world without the internet, TV or mobile phone? Could you cope? That's what happens to young Eric when he is magically transported back to war torn Britain in 1941 amongst a group of evacuees. I could tell you more but walls have ears and careless talk costs lives!
