Franzens Weltpanorama - A Ferry Radax Bricolage
In Franzens Weltpanorama, Wolfgang Liemberger and Georg Vogt approach late filmmaker Ferry Radax ( 1932 to 2021) through the appropriation of his materials and methods in the form of a bricolage. At the center is his formative early period: Radax's youth in post-war Vienna, the Art Club, the Vienna Group, and his friendship with Konrad Bayer. Their joint works "Sonne halt!" and "am rand", together with Radax's fragmentary first feature film "Das Floß", as well as his commercials and his archive, form the central starting points of the panorama.
