Lu & Pau
Lu, Pau, and Jessi have been best friends since childhood. All three are daughters of police officers, and Pau and Jessi are also sisters. Their fathers, officers with the Misiones police force, were secretly involved in robbing banks. During one of these robberies, they were shot dead by the police, and since then, throughout their adolescence, Pau, Jessi, and Lu have been involved in crime. Drugs, Drugs, armed robberies at night, street fights, and everything else you can imagine. But time passed, Lu cleaned up her act and opened a hair salon, Pau cleaned up her act more or less and went to work, and Jessi didn't clean up her act at all and continued on the wrong path. The black sheep among three black sheep. Now, in 2024, Jessi is arrested after a robbery alongside her lover, who managed to escape. The entire case falls on her, and on top of that, she is pregnant. At the same time, Pau is dating Pablo, a gorgeous and tough police officer. When he finds out what happened, he talks to Jessi's lawyer, who explains that Monterrey, the prosecutor in charge, is quite corrupt and for a large sum of dollars-equivalent to an apartment-he could muddy the case and get Jessi off the hook. So Pau decides to ask his mother Marta for advice. Marta, who now sells marijuana alongside Lu's mother, tells him to get the money any way he can. So Pau seeks out Lu and convinces her that they have to get the money. Lu hesitates. She knows that Pau + Jessi = trouble. But blood is thicker than water, and so is love, and she ends up agreeing on the condition that they don't do anything illegal. Deal done. Their first attempt is at the casino, and although at first they win a lot of money thanks to Pau's luck playing the slot machines... when they count their winnings, it's not enough for the bribe. Pau insists on continuing to play, and Lu believes they could lose everything. Pau insists, and they do indeed lose most of what they won. While they are getting drunk in a bar, thinking that all is lost, Pau receives a call from Jessi's lawyer. She tells them that she knows where Marcelo, Jessi's lover and the real culprit behind the robbery, is. They decide to go find him so he can turn himself in because Jessi is pregnant with his child. If he accepts his guilt, Jessi's sentence-who does not want to turn him in-will be minimal.
