After her husband's suddenly disappearance, Seiko Kijima continues to run an oden stall while caring for her children and mother-in-law. One month later, the police informed Seiko that her husband Kazuki had died in an accident in a river and Seiko confirmed his identity after checking the belongings found and the physical descriptions. However, one year after that, Kazuki, who should have been dead, appeared in front of Seiko. Meanwhile, Seiko's life begins to go out of control after receiving the life insurance money for the body she misidentified as her husband's.
