Trained to be a skilled assassin from a young age, Renae is one of the most skilled killers in the Assassin Core. The ruthless "Crimson Killer" suddenly finds herself falling in love with Samuel after bonding over a romance novel. Once deciding to marry him, Renae does one last assignment before leaving the Assassin Core. When trying to leave, the head boss threatens that she will be executed for refusing to continue her assignments. Renae leaves anyway and, upon returning home, is ambushed by multiple assassins. She now has to fight for the new life she wants.
