Four acting duets, each couple engaging in a separate conversation, with dialogues interwoven, and the action unfolding over the course of a single day. The parallel editing of four scenes featuring two characters allows the viewer to realize that almost all the characters are connected by familial ties. Each dialogue describes a different, complex interpersonal relationship. Most of them concern a crisis in a relationship, and all portray the characters at a turning point.
