AJITU - The Hidden Peril opens with two lovers, Ola and Ife, driving through a lonely narrow way . After a strange encounter with a Monkey, their car breaks down near a mysterious forest known as Ajitu. This eerie prologue foreshadows the darkness to come. Meanwhile, eight university students - Daniel, Bimpe, Kola, Abdullah, Aminah, Bode, Ada and Adesewa- decide to embark on a secret trip to a remote village said to hide ancient diamonds buried within cursed ground. Driven by greed, ambition, and the thrill of adventure, they ignore warnings from elders who speak of Ajitu, "the land of the forgotten." Their arrival in the forest marks the beginning of their nightmare. As night falls, they encounter unsettling symbols, red cloths tied to trees, and shrines whispering ancestral curses. The first sign of doom comes when Abdullah, searching for phone service, is impaled by a supernatural being - a pale, hovering creature with glowing eyes. Panic tears the group apart. Trust erodes, and the spirit of Ajitu feeds on their fear. Aminah is killed next, her body left as a warning. Ada turns manipulative, Bode becomes paranoid, and Kola's greed spirals into madness. He kills Ada during an argument and escapes into the bush with the diamonds. Bimpe, terrified yet resolute, fights back and kills Kola in a fierce struggle with Daniel. As dawn approaches, only Daniel and Bimpe remain. Bloodied and broken, they confess their love for each other in the forest, believing they have survived the curse. But the horror returns - the Ajitu being emerges once more. Daniel sacrifices himself to protect Bimpe. She flees, clutching the bag of diamonds, and collapses on a deserted road. A passing car offers her a ride, but the three men inside attempt to assault her. In a brutal fight for survival, she kills them and drives away, wounded and traumatized. When she finally reaches home, she dies in her mother's embrace, whispering a chilling final warning about Ajitu. The story closes with her younger sister, who, discovering the hidden diamonds in the bag. As her eyes gleam with greed, the curse of Ajitu silently awakens again.
