A Movement Against State Terrorism in Venezuela. Echo Effect began in 2014 as a digital movement to give voice to the students who were being killed in the streets of Venezuela during protests against Nicolás Maduro's regime. Ten years later, the movement has been reactivated to denounce state terrorism and the escalating human rights violations following the July 2024 elections, in which the opposition claimed victory. Through anonymous testimonies submitted by individuals persecuted by the dictatorship, Echo Effect amplifies their voices with the support of artists, communicators, and public figures in general, sparking international conversation and raising global awareness. Our mission is to expose the regime's atrocities and continue the fight for freedom and justice in Venezuela, ensuring that the state's crimes are neither forgotten nor ignored.
