In November 1958, a woman is lost in a city she does not know. She begins a correspondence with her family without knowing that she is writing the novel about the last year of her life. In September 2010 I found her letters and film reels full of dust in a suitcase in my family home. I saw her fighting with courage and falling into loneliness, getting up and falling again. And dying. Renee R. becomes a real tragic character. This movie tells the tragedy of this deep and complex woman who dies of love and modern woman who tries to emancipate.
