Car Buying Basics

2022
Comedy

This series of educational films produced for the USAA Educational Foundation tackles the serious business of buying a car, but with the approach of laughing while you learn. World-class production value and entertaining performances come together as lessons primed to build confidence in every stage of the car buying adventure. USAA Educational Foundation created this series for the Office of Financial Readiness (FINRED), and continues to make them available to all Military Service Members. This series is abundant with facts on the pros and cons, ins and outs, ups and downs, when buying a new or used vehicle. While just as informative for civilians, the videos take special care to cover the very real considerations for active duty service members in any branch of the armed forces. USAA Educational Foundation worked with Tipping Point Media & Entertainment, as their production agency, to bring together this memorable series. Tipping Point's Director of Media & Entertainment, Michael "Ffish" Hemschoot, brought his directorial chops to the table, with a unique and intuitive style that was careful to entertain and educate. The series was filmed with a dynamic cast and skilled crew over the course of 3 days at multiple locations. All culminating in an intensive editorial and post-production process, with kinetic motion graphics, visual effects, and a custom musical score. The USAA Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization sponsored by USAA. They offer the military and local community opportunities to be better informed and prepared to make the best financial choices through every stage of life, with an extensive library of free financial educational materials. With videos series such as Car Buying Basics, they provide credible financial information that's objective, relevant and usable. Tipping Point was honored to support USAA Educational Foundation in helping to inform our service members.
