Maja is a young elementary school teacher who does everything she can to be there for her students, colleagues, and management - even though she herself is drowning. As her boundaries are repeatedly crossed, reality begins to slip away from her. We follow her journey through a daily life where the familiar slowly becomes distorted - where small cracks grow wider, and where something unsettling begins to seep into the ordinary. Everything comes to a head when Maja - in desperation - encourages a student to take revenge on his bully. The consequences are severe. But perhaps it is not only Maja who is on the verge of breaking down. Perhaps the system around her is just as worn out. The film is a psychological drama with thriller elements that asks: What happens to those who never say no - in a system that never stops asking them for more?
