The Sacrifice
'The Sacrifice' is an excerpt from the feature-length script REUNION BUMS, written by Ashley Schmitt. Leif (Trevor Snarr from Napoleon Dynamite) and his two friends, Matty (Matt Gonzales) and Trent (Andrew Brown), sit in Leif's bedroom, bored, without anything to do. Matty and Leif decide to spy on Leif's sister Tigerlily (Ashley Schmitt from Mermaid Down) and her two friends, Lina (Tara Wilson) and Josie (Sasha Bujnak), who are hosting their fourth annual, official L.A. Women Doors Fanclub Sleepover Meeting. Things start to get heated when the girls get a bit catty, as often happens with a group of girls, and then Tigerlily suggests her newly implemented plan of making a sacrifice of hair to the deceased members of the band. The boys watch in wonder and horror as their crushes since elementary school carry on with their extravagant club meeting.
