This relationship is explored through a young black boy whose father is killed in a routine traffic stop, and then 7 years later while attending a new church, the officer who killed his father is found to be sitting a few rows ahead of him. Flashbacks of their prior interaction flood his mind and this film delves into the 7 days leading up to their inevitable face-off.
