Brunch is a dark comedy about drinking bottomless mimosas over avocado toast while the known world goes up in a blazing dumpster fire around you. The film follows Chelsea, an elder millennial on the verge of a suicide attempt that is unknowingly interrupted by her narcissistic best friend. Dragged out of her apartment and ubered to a hipster-chic restaurant, she tries to keep it together as her friends devolve into a tailspin after discovering that their favorite spot has been permanently closed due to an "unforeseen tragedy." The group ends up on an odyssey through the industrial wastelands of Bushwick where Chelsea's crisis erupts back to the surface.
