Stuck in Place
Upon the end of an audition, Owen and Lee stumble upon a chance encounter in an empty, desolate parking lot. Their differences become immediately apparent from Owen's baggy pants and old mechanic jacket to Lee's tailored outfit. They exchange a few words, reflecting on their current job situations. Lee departs from the scene, smug in his perceived victory after humiliating Owen. Then he gets into his car, turns the key... and nothing. Owen also reaches his car, then drives right by Lee. In an ironic twist, Owen leaves him behind to deal with a cold engine in the bleak, ethereal environment.
