Witness at Cannon Street
Witness at Cannon Street is a story set in the late 1800's, telling the tale of an innocent man who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Strolling home late one evening he stumbles across the body of a woman left for dead in the corner of a dark quiet street. Going to her aid he notices her horrific injuries, triggering a vision of the brutal circumstances that led to her fatality. He's soon met by another passer-by who immediately makes the accusation the man is responsible for the woman's murder. The tension rises, each accusing the other of the murder. The police arrive at the scene, where the story takes another unexpected turn, resulting in a spine tingling twist.
