Takes a dig at the evolutionary theory of origins & that Earth is not 4.5 billion years old. Evolutionary theory says that Earth was formed by gradual cooling of the crust over millions of years. Life started spontaneously in a primordial sea and then migrated to land. It took billions of years to evolve into the many life forms that we see today. Structures such as the Grand Canyon were formed by slow cutting of rock by rivers over millions of years. Coal and oil deposits were formed in sedimentary rock, due to the gradual decay of organic matter that got trapped inside the rock and converted to fuel under conditions of extreme pressure and temperature. Even this took millions of years. The documentary argues that not all evidence was considered before coming to the evolutionary conclusion and science only shows one side of the story that it can explain conveniently. Current physical laws did not apply in the past, and the crust cooled down almost instantaneously instead of solidifying over millions of years. They look at Coalified wood samples from Uranium mines to determine the period in which wood was converted into coal under the right conditions of pressure and temperature. Radio halos in coal samples are microscopic, spherical or circular discolorations surrounding tiny mineral inclusions. These halos are created by alpha particles emitted from radioactive elements like uranium and thorium within the inclusions as they decay. The alpha particles damage the surrounding coal structure, causing the discoloration. These halos can provide information about the history of uranium and thorium decay in the coal and the timing of Coalification. Basically, measuring ratio of uranium & lead isotopes in Coalified wood suggests that coal was formed within several thousand years. A lot of evidence is presented around how vegetation could have been buried by volcanic ash flows in a sudden event rather than the slow accumulation in the evolutionary theory. Then there are open pit mines where coal seams are interrupted for 200 feet in vertical depth and goes on for 100s of miles, indicating that the coal was formed in a quick process, rather than over millions of years, in which case the coal seams are interspersed with clay and other impurities. Synthetic coal developed in labs in 1 year. Synthetic oil also produced within years using super-heated water & organic material. For example, a giant flood could have hit the middle east, taken all the vegetation with it, and converted it into oil over a relatively short period of time. Then the documentary proceeds to link the evidence with events described in the bible which are exactly what happened in the lab experiments. Shells were found on the top of Mount Everest and the Bible describes the end of the giant flood with the rising of mountains out of the water. There is evidence of volcanic eruptions during the period of the giant flood, which would have provided the heat needed for the conversion. The Hydroplate theory is a creationist hypothesis that proposes a global flood during Noah's time was caused by the rupture of a subterranean water canopy and the subsequent fracturing of Earth's crust into tectonic plates. The theory posits that before the flood, a vast amount of water was stored in a subterranean chamber beneath the Earth's crust. This subterranean water chamber is said to have ruptured, causing a global flood that reshaped the Earth's surface and created the continents. The theory suggests that the fracturing of the Earth's crust due to the escaping water formed the tectonic plates we see today, which are referred to as "Hydroplates". Grand Canyon formation also fits the model of the worldwide flood described in the bible. Rapid deluge of large volume of water through 2 Pre Bible lakes which caused Cavitation in rocks & formed the canyon & deposited the dirt over the rest of USA. There was evidence of Cavitation in the spill way tunnel of a large dam which had a massive inflow of water from the ice-covered mountains in the captive area. The spill way tunnel had to opened way beyond capacity to save the dam structure and this caused Cavitation inside the tunnel at several places. The same process could have caused the formation of the Grand Canyon. Some vague evidence of rapid fossilization in rocks across US. Floods went for 40 days & larger animals leave evidence of attempts to escape, like bunched dinosaur tracks in coal & giant dinosaur graveyards with thousands of skeletons in a small area, live bacteria in fossils enclosed in plant saps. Evidence suggests that rapid fossilization can occur when organisms are quickly buried by sediment, preserving soft tissues and details before decay sets in.
