The film tells the story of Marian Wielezynski, the continuator of the work of Ignacy Lukasiewicz, an inventor and visionary, the father of the Polish gas industry, and at the same time the creator of "Gazolina", the first company in Poland based on employee shareholding. The title of the film refers to the pseudonym used by Marian Wielezynski during his student days. Wielezynski, like the old alchemists, made an extraordinary discovery - he found a way to use gas.
