A young woman lives alone with her son. Married of young age and divorced soon after, she struggles to survive a wild reality. Though very dedicated to her son, she remains an interesting subject to be gossiped about. After getting used being an easy target, she doesn't mind the contemptuous looks and harassing words that follow her around even in the new neighborhood she moves in. But at the new school, her son rendered the center of his classmates' attention has to face confusion, disgrace, and violence for not having a father. His attempt to cope with the situation on his naive way, brings accidentally to the lives of mother and son a man, whose empathy and sudden confrontation with their pain, enable a turn of fortune's wheel.
