Melissa drives off late at night into a well-deserved weekend. Her eyes are already closing from exhaustion and she has to stop at a dark, deserted parking place. When a white van drives up, enormous fears well up in her. But will they be proved true? The film, based on the published short story "Sekundenschlaf" by young author Yana Svelush, deals with the fears of and violence against women. When they are out at night or alone, fear is a constant companion. Exploitation and bullying at the workplace as well as the constant pressure nowadays bring even more discomfort into the world of women.
