Is Mina a genius? It's Peter Ulrich's duty as a member of the institute of literature to find out what's behind the whiz-kid. Is it really the eight-year-old girl, who writes all these poems? And what's about the overprotective mother? He is quite sceptically. Even if she wrote all of it all by herself, still he can't regard the poems as good. Is he right, or is the not-so-successful author only driven by jealousy? In the end the prodigy will see behind his curtain, realize who he really is and destroy his preconceptions as well as his last bit of self-confidence.
