55 year old Regine has devoted 30 years as a legal secretary at the Hoffman firm and is a real creature of habit. The newly-qualified lawyer Margitta, daughter of the chief partner, takes over the firm. Regine has known Margitta since she was a child and is sure the two of them will keep things running smoothly... until the young paralegal, Steffi, comes on the scene.
