This comedy adventure follows Teresa, a feisty Type A neurotic, Latina producer, and Sabrina, her Texan scatterbrained best friend...and her quirky dogs. They embark on a mission to represent Teresa's film at a festival in Amsterdam, in a desperate effort to gain the press required for her green card application. This is pivotal for Teresa's family in order for them to stay together in the US to receive the support her handicapped husband needs. Sabrina joins Teresa in an attempt to support her, while escaping her ego-maniac boyfriend, but ends up messing everything up along the way... Will they even make it to the airport?
