Awafi is a young girl who lives with her father Abdulmutaal who works in the mill. Love connects her with the medical student, Hasanain, son of Shaykhoon, wealthy owner of the mill and who aspires to be mayor of the town. Shaykhoon opposes his son's marriage to Awafi because of the social difference between them, and he deceives her and leaves her, and she goes to search for him after she became pregnant.
