The police organization are forced into fiscal austerity due to the economy and they look for ways to reduce expenditures. A "special accounting department" is created that includes Police Officer Madoka Hajime (Kanna Hashimoto). She gets dispatched to a police station known for heavy expenses, but what awaits for her are a bunch of detectives who insist money is needed for their investigations. Tetsuro Yukawa (Ikki Sawamura) is a hot-headed detective at the station. He butts heads with the penny pinching Madoka Hajime and sometimes collaborates with her on cases.
