Marut stumbles upon a beautiful ghost by chance, Dao. He is immediately smitten by her, but things are not as they seem. Dao is a ghost that acts as a succubus for a scarier entity. Marut helps Dao break free of this monstrous entity. Dao becomes human one day and the two live as a married couple. However, Marut's mother refuses to accept Dao. She brings another woman into the home and with black magic, this woman is able to conquer Marut's heart. Marut becomes a completely different man and begins to treat Dao badly.
