'A Part of Me' encapsulates loves rollercoaster with beautiful detail. A raw, heart wrenching journey of love, loss and separation. It follows a couple through their struggle to cope with life's devastation. Trapped by shame and hushed by taboo. How do we pick ourselves up when life throws the unthinkable our way? How do we recover? With almost no dialogue at all 'a part of me' bypasses our heads and reaches straight in for our hearts. Developed purely through improvisations with the actors, dance and physical theatre workshops with the movement director and an open dialogue throughout with the music composer it has been a collaborative process from start to finish with female strong team leading the way from initial concept to final edit.
