Erik Aschengreen created a key position for himself in the world of ballet for more than half a century. He vividly mediated the biggest and most famous dancers in countless books and reviews, in his doctorate and as an educator and international ballet ambassador. In this portrait film, Erik Aschengreen talks about his life in the passionate world of dance and what dance has given him as a person. A journey from the Pantomime Theater in Tivoli via the Royal Danish Theater to Paris, where he researched and wrote some of his most important books. The film was created three years before his death.
