Not Drowning But Waving
Jack, an eighteen year old, has passed away. He has left a letter requesting that his funeral and wake be attended in full fancy dress and assigned all guests specific costumes. Our story follows his two best friends, Tom and Gregg, as well as his parents, Christian and Helen, as they deal with their grief and the sheer ridiculousness of Jack's last request. The story explores each of these characters' very different, veiled responses to loss in a surreal, sometimes awkward, often darkly funny, but always touching manner.
