Newly engaged Kora returns home for Thanksgiving with her mother Lillian. They spend the week gardening, eating and doing each others hair. Everything seems perfect, except for the fact that Kora's fiance couldn't come home. Reconnecting with old friends and old passions, Kora must confront her feelings and decide what is best for her.
