C.O.M.P.L.E.X; Ities
I created this piece after I came across @Southasianartists post on Twitter recently. The post was asking, around the lines of "What being South Asian really means to South Asian Artists" as it was South Asian Heritage month. I got a pen and paper and wrote drafts on all topics from growing up in a religious family, my years of working in the entertainment industry, my ever-growing questions about linear sexuality, my relationship to myself, that feeling of being lost or belonging, being mixed and thus this was created.
