While Jasmina is doing homework with her parents after dinner, her boyfriend Lukas calls her and tries to persuade her to come outside. While the two are still talking on the phone, the doorbell rings. Instead of Lukas, it's the police. They tell Jasmina and her parents that they will be deported within fifteen minutes. Jasmina's world comes crashing down. The long-awaited class trip to Berlin and her plans to get to know Lukas better during that trip are gone. In her despair, Jasmina calls Lukas who wants to help with the help of his mother, who is a lawyer.
